Welcome to the Foresteria at Casaforte di Bergum, an enchanting historic residence within a medieval hamlet, nestled in the landscape at the foot of the eastern Friuli hills in the municipality of Remanzacco, just just minutes from Cividale del Friuli.
La Foresteria is a 200 sqm independent residence spanning two levels, featuring a private entrance.
On the ground floor, you'll find a bright living and dining area with a stone fireplace, a glass door opening onto the garden, a fully equipped kitchen, a single bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower.
Upstairs, there are three cozy attic-style bedrooms and two bathrooms—one with a bathtub and one with a shower. La Foresteria comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests and enjoys a strategic location for exploring the beauty of Friuli, whether you seek relaxation or a peaceful place to focus.
Guests have access to the furnished outdoor spaces in the Domus courtyard and the park, as well as a laundry area with washing machine, dryer, and ironing facilities. Internet, Wi-Fi, and Starlink satellite are available.
We are also happy to help you organize exclusive small events, aperitifs, or dinners within the property.

By Car: From the A23 highway, take the Udine Nord exit and follow the signs toward Cividale del Friuli. At Ronchis di Povoletto, follow directions for Campeglio – Cividale. Between Ronchis and Campeglio, after crossing the bridge over the Grivò stream, turn right onto the private road to Bergum. Casaforte Bergum is located at the end of this road, on the right-hand side—entrance at civic number 1.
By Plane: The nearest airport is Trieste – Ronchi dei Legionari, served by international Ryanair flights and connected to Udine via train (directly from the airport) and bus. The drive to Bergum takes about 40 minutes.
Venice International Airport is approximately 90 minutes away by car and also offers train and bus connections to Udine.
Treviso Airport is about 1 hour and 40 minutes from Bergum, with similar public transport links to Udine.
By Train: From Udine train station, you can take regional buses to Faedis, which is about 4 km from Bergum. We’ll be happy to pick you up from there.
However, we recommend using a taxi service, Uber, or a rental car for easier access. Rental car agencies are available near the train station.
Tip: Follow Casaforte Bergum on Google Maps for accurate directions. The property is located in a peaceful area that is easily accessible.
